Virginia studied under Lorna Donaldson, one of the first members of the Interior
Decorator and Designers Association (now BIID) in the 70’s and became a member herself
in the 1980’s. Although born and brought up in Africa, she has lived in the United
Kingdom for many years. She also lived for short periods in Australia, Canada and
Kuwait and has travelled extensively around the world, but not – as yet – China and
Virginia’s past projects have included a private bank in the City of London, a private
hospital, offices, as well as homes in London and the Home Counties, Geneva, Athens,
Kuwait, Zambia, Johannesburg and Toronto.
Using a wide colour palette and a wider range of cultural insights, Virginia has
no set style. A deep knowledge of design history however, acts as continual inspiration
and understanding of a clients’ requirements lie at the heart of her finished interiors.
